Marchawari

Marchawari Rural Municipality is one of the 16 municipalities in Rupandehi District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 40,880, comprising 20,499 males (50.1%) and 20,381 females (49.9%), with a literacy rate of 68.69%. Spanning 48.55 square kilometers, Marchawari Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 842 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
