Madane Rural Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Gulmi District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 20,022, comprising 8,973 males (44.8%) and 11,049 females (55.2%), with a literacy rate of 77.02%. Spanning 94.52 square kilometers, Madane Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 212 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
