Halesi Tuwachung Municipality is one of the 10 municipalities in Khotang District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 27,078, comprising 13,358 males (49.3%) and 13,720 females (50.7%), with a literacy rate of 74.27%. Spanning 280.17 square kilometers, Halesi Tuwachung Municipality exhibits the population density of 97 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.
