Aathbiskot Municipality is one of the 6 municipalities in Western Rukum District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 35,917, comprising 17,618 males (49.1%) and 18,299 females (50.9%), with a literacy rate of 70.1%. Spanning 560.34 square kilometers, Aathbiskot Municipality exhibits the population density of 64 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 14 wards.
