Uniglobe SS/College Science 2.0 Expo

Uniglobe Secondary School/College in Kamaladi is organizing a two-day Science Exhibition to foster innovation, creativity, and academic excellence among students. This event is organized by the Science Club of Uniglobe SS/College and will take place across the school premises. Project displays will be set up on the school grounds and in the futsal area, while formal programs will be held in the seminar hall.

The exhibition will feature more than 70 student-led projects categorized into three major areas: Life Sciences, Robotics, and Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Designed as a platform for experiential learning, the event encourages students to apply scientific knowledge in practical and creative ways, engaging with science beyond traditional classroom instruction.

The exhibition is supported by several sponsors and partners: Ambition Guru as the educational partner, Pathao as the mobility partner, OPPS Nepal as the entertainment partner, and Mr. Waffles, Donut Drool, Wai Wai Quick, and Campa Cola as the food and beverage partners. NIEC Consultancy is the title sponsor, contributing to the event's successful organization and outreach.

The first day of the exhibition will kick off at 6:00 AM with a large-scale project showcase, expected to attract nearly 4,000 visitors, including parents, students from all faculties, teachers, and staff. The event is anticipated to generate significant enthusiasm and participation. Food stalls operated by the institution’s food partners will be available throughout the day to provide refreshments. The activities on the first day will conclude around 5:00 PM.

The second day will focus on continued exhibitions and formal project presentations. External judges will evaluate and grade the projects to ensure a fair and professional assessment. The event will conclude with a closing and prize distribution ceremony in the seminar hall, featuring addresses by the Director, Coordinators, and Principal, followed by the announcement of results and the recognition of outstanding projects.

The Science Exhibition has several key objectives, including enhancing students’ observation, analytical, problem-solving, research, and investigative skills. It aims to build presentation, communication, and teamwork abilities while providing a platform to showcase innovative ideas, inventions, and experiments. Additionally, the exhibition seeks to recognize talented young scientists and promote an environment of healthy competition and collaboration.

Beyond student development, the exhibition is expected to offer multiple benefits to the institution and the wider academic community. It will enhance the school's academic reputation, foster a culture of scientific learning, and encourage creativity, innovation, and curiosity among students. The event will provide direct experience in applying theoretical knowledge to practice, demonstrate the relevance of science in daily life, and motivate students to consider future careers in science and technology. Furthermore, it will foster positive competition and active participation in scientific learning and inquiry.

Overall, the Science Exhibition reflects Uniglobe SS/College’s commitment to quality education, innovation, and holistic student development. The Science Expo serves as an effective platform for fostering creativity, curiosity, and scientific learning among students. It not only allows them to apply classroom knowledge in practice but also helps them develop essential skills to address real-life science-related problems. Additionally, it raises awareness about real-life issues, promotes innovation, and inspires young minds to pursue careers in science and technology.
