The Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) is a four‑year, eight‑semester undergraduate program under Pokhara University. The program was launched by Pokhara University in 2000 to meet the growing demand for qualified healthcare professionals equipped with both management and health‑sector knowledge.

BHCM is designed to produce skilled health‑care management professionals who can effectively contribute to the administration, management, and operation of hospitals, clinics, health‑care organizations, and public health agencies. The curriculum blends principles of business management, health systems, hospital administration, health policy and planning, health information systems, and other specialized topics relevant to the management of modern health‑care facilities.

Graduates are prepared for immediate employment in various health‑care settings or for further studies at the graduate or research level.

BHCM Colleges in Nepal

The Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) is offered by eight colleges affiliated with Pokhara University. These institutions provide students with a comprehensive education in healthcare management, combining theoretical knowledge with practical exposure.
