Spanning four semesters and totaling 63 credit hours, the program offers a balanced blend of theoretical understanding and hands-on learning, preparing graduates to excel in academic, professional, and research-oriented careers.

Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to the entrance topper and the semester topper, with each scholarship applicable for one semester only.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria to be eligible for the MTech in IT program:
- Hold a B.Tech in Computer Science as their major
- Hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science
- Hold a Bachelor of Engineering in:
- Computer Engineering
- Communication and Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Application
- ICT Education
- Information Systems
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in any academic discipline and have successfully completed a postgraduate program in Computer Application or IT.
Note: All candidates must also pass the LTU Entrance Test for enrollment.
