Eligibility

The applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree of a minimum 3 years duration or equivalent (under 10+2+3 Or 10+2+4) from a recognized university in any faculty, with a minumum of second division.

Job opportunities in Social Work vary with the kind of specialization that a person has opted for. The jobs available in the Nepalese market are:

  • Employment in NGOs working for the improvement of rural health, sanitation and lifestyle.
  • After gaining some experience MSWs can be appointed as consultants with various organizations.
  • Teaching is another option for Social workers.

Premier international organizations like WHO, UNESCO and UNICEF employ social workers in awareness campaigns and projects meant for developing countries.
