The Bachelor of Technology in Cybersecurity is a four-year undergraduate program offered by Kathmandu University (KU). This program aims to develop skilled cybersecurity professionals who possess comprehensive technical knowledge, practical experience, and a strong ethical foundation needed to secure digital infrastructures and address evolving cyber threats. The curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary learning by integrating concepts from computer science, law, psychology, and business. This program has been developed in collaboration with the Ullens Education Foundation.
Objectives of the B.Tech in Cybersecurity Program

Eligibility
- Academic Qualification: Maths and Computer Science from Science or Management backgrounds in both XI and XII (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or an aggregate of 50% on a percentage scale.
- Entrance Examination: Evaluation of technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
Entrance Examination
Required Test: Must appear for the KUCAT-PBT (Paper-Based Test) 2025, or KUCAT-CBT (Computer-Based Test) 2025.
