BSc Radiotherapy Technology is a program affiliated with the National Academy of Medical Sciences. It has a total of 5 seats for candidates who want to pursue a BSc Radiotherapy Technology in Nepal. In 2026, the government has allocated 4 scholarship seats.
Eligibility
Must have completed a proficiency certificate level or Grade 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects from a recognized educational institution, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or 2.4 CGPA/GPA.
Or
Applicants who have completed A-Level or other equivalent programs with different grading systems must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, secured at least 50% aggregate marks or 2.4 CGPA/GPA, and obtained equivalence from the relevant authority.
Or
Applicants who have completed a Diploma in Radiography or Radiotherapy with at least 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the BSc Radiotherapy Technology program. Applicants must also be registered with the respective professional council.
Or
Applicants who have completed a Proficiency Certificate Level or Diploma in Radiography or Radiotherapy with at least 50% aggregate marks, and have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing at least 50% aggregate or 2.4 CGPA/GPA in Grade 12 Science or its equivalent recognized by the National Examination Board, and are registered with the respective professional council, are also eligible.
Admission Criteria

A copy of citizenship or National ID (or NID application slip)
ORNepali citizens who have passed Grade 12 but are under 16 years of age can submit their application using a minor's identification card issued by the District Administration Office. This exception applies provided they fulfill all other required qualifications for the exam.
