The Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a general management degree taught from a global perspective that prepares students for a range of management careers. The program is primarily directed toward individuals who already have work experience in professional jobs or in entry-level to mid-level management positions. The MBA program consists of 66 credits and has a strong foundation in academic research, yet it is designed to tackle the very real issues that face today’s international business community.

The MBA degree links career collaboration and personal development to the achievement of career aspirations. For some students, the Pokhara University MBA is the next step in their existing career trajectory. For others, it provides an opportunity to reconsider their future and either embark on a related field or a new career direction. Armed with both the qualification and the experience of the Pokhara University MBA degree, its students go on to enjoy fulfilling, successful careers in major corporations and organizations in Nepal and elsewhere. Other students are inspired to set up their own businesses, using their graduate research project or thesis as an opportunity to develop a business plan. The school offers a real focus on entrepreneurship, which will help shape the business world of tomorrow.

Concentration Areas

Pokhara University offers several career-focused concentrations. These courses allow students to gain additional knowledge and skills in specific concentration areas.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for applying to study the MBA program at Uniglobe, you must have a CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 or a second division and 15 years of formal schooling, including three years of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Work experience is preferred but not essential.

Uniglobe College selects and admits only 30 students to our MBA class. Final selection and admission will be based on your performance on the written test, group discussion, individual presentation, and personal interview. Applicants are required to complete and pass the MBA admission test administered by the college in the following subject areas:

  • General Awareness

Admission Process

The admission process in the MBA involves submission of the complete application form and transcripts of all previous degrees (bachelor's, +2, and SLC or equivalent), along with payment of the admission test fee within the date specified.
