Surkhet Multiple Campus, formerly named Surkhet Education (Shikshya) Campus, is the only “A” class constituent campus of Tribhuvan University in Karnali province in Nepal. Initially, the campus was established in Nepalgunj in 1972 AD, and later, in 1983 AD, it was relocated to Surkhet. Since its inception, the campus has been imparting quality education to develop skilled human resources to meet national and international needs.
Surkhet Multiple Campus is dedicated to fulfilling the educational needs of the country in Karnali province. The campus aims to produce trained manpower for the education sector in the Government of Nepal, specifically for the Far and Mid-West regions. Dynamic administration; dedicated, technology-friendly, and cooperative teachers and non-teaching staff, a resourceful library, a peaceful teaching-learning environment, provision of scholarship for deserving and needy students, hostel facility for the students, residence for teachers and employees, adequate extra-curricular activities, hygienic cafeteria, spacious parking, and attractive gardens have made the campus a center of attraction for academicians in the region.
The campus, which initially offered PGD Education, is now offering a total of several programs in affiliation with Tribhuvan University. At the bachelor's level, it offers the Bachelor of Education (BEd), Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Ed Science) , and Bachelor of Education in Information Communication Technology (BICTE). Likewise, at the master's level, it offers MEd in English Language Education , MEd in Nepali Language Education, and MEd Education Planning and Management.
