The Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) program at St. Lawrence College has been offered since 2008 A.D., backed by a team of experienced faculty and a strong emphasis on practical learning. The program blends academic rigor with real-world exposure through market research, industrial field visits, internship placements in businesses and banks, guest lectures, and value-added computer courses. In the fourth year, students may specialize in either Finance or Marketing.

Curriculum Overview

The BBS curriculum, under the Faculty of Management (FOM), Tribhuvan University, is structured around three core components:

  1. Foundational Courses – Covering areas such as language, economics, law, and quantitative methods
  2. Core Business Studies – Integrating all functional areas of business and management
  3. Specialization – Offering in-depth focus in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, or HRM

Eligibility Criteria

  • Successfully completed +2 Level or its equivalent from any University, board, or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University and must secure at least a D in every subject. OR
  • Passed + 2 or Intermediate or PCL from TU or from any other institution recognized by TU.
