Founded in 2000, National Open College (NOC) is the first institution in South Asia to introduce Healthcare Management as an academic discipline. By pioneering the Bachelor's in Healthcare Management (BHCM) program in 2000, the Post-Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (PGDHCM) in 2001, and the Master's in Healthcare Management (MHCM) in 2002, the college established a new pathway for combining medical services with managerial expertise.

Admission Guidelines

MHCM – Master in Healthcare Management (40th Batch)

National Open College proudly announces admissions for the 40th Batch of MHCM (Master in Healthcare Management).

  • Eligibility: Must hold a Health Science degree (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSc Nursing, PBN, etc.) of 3 years or more.
  • Application Process: Apply either in person or online. Application form fee: Rs. 2,500.
  • Selection: Candidates must appear for the entrance test. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to enroll.

PGDHCM – Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (33rd Batch)

National Open College invites applications for the 33rd Batch of PGDHCM (Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management).

  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Health Sciences, Management, Public Health, Social Sciences, etc.).
  • Application Process: Apply either in person or online. Application form fee: Rs. 2,500.
  • Selection: Applicants must appear for the entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for admission.

BHCM – Bachelor in Healthcare Management (26th Batch)

National Open College announces admissions for the 26th Batch of BHCM (Bachelor in Healthcare Management).

Eligibility: Students who have completed +2 / Intermediate or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum second division.
Application Process: Apply either in person or online. Application form fee: Rs. 2,500.
Selection: Applicants must appear for the entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for admission.

BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration (25th Batch)
National Open College announces admissions for the 25th Batch of BBA.

  • Eligibility: Students who have completed +2 / Intermediate or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum second division.
  • Application Process: Apply either in person or online. Application form fee: Rs. 2,500.
  • Selection: Applicants must appear for the entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for admission.

BPH – Bachelor of Public Health (17th Batch)
National Open College announces admissions for the 17th Batch of BPH.

  • Eligibility: Students who have completed +2 / Intermediate or equivalent in Science with Biology, securing a minimum second division.
  • Application Process: Apply for MEC - CEE (Medical Education Commission- Common Entrance Exam). Pass the test and match us - Pokhara University - National Open College.
  • Selection: Applicants must appear for the entrance test. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for admission.

Dr. Sital Kumar Karki is the esteemed founder of National Open College and served as its principal for over 20 years. He is the visionary behind the introduction of health care management education in Nepal, significantly impacting health care management and hospital administration in the country. His pioneering efforts have established National Open College as a leader in health care education, shaping the careers of countless professionals and advancing the health care sector in Nepal.
