Naaya Aayam Multi-Disciplinary Institute (NAMI) College in Nepal, founded by committed Nepali citizens, partners with the University of Northampton (UN) in the UK  to offer internationally recognized programs such as BSc (Hons) Computer Science, Bachelor in Business Administration, and Master of Computing Science. NAMI also provides +2 programs under NEB and A-Levels courses under the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) board.

Salient Features

NAMI infrastructure is of a British standard campus area developed as per the guidelines of University of Northampton, UK. To guide NAMI construction team UN assigned their own engineer. For this, UN team along with their engineer paid several visits to NAMI construction site during the construction period.

The infrastructure consists of following:

  • Admin Block
  • Academic Blocks(Block C and Block D)
  • Faculty Block
  • Lecturer Halls( three auditorium size halls)
  • Sports Area
  • Parking Area: motorbike, bike and car parking
  • A Lawn Area

Admission Guidelines

All the programmes offered at NAMI are taught programmes. Students enrol with the University of Northampton and NAMI together. Once the student has identified the programme he/she want to study, the following documents must be submitted to admission@nami.edu.np:

Please bring/attach the following documents at the time of application:

  • University of Northampton (UN) application form (Download here)
  • Official Transcripts (Starting from 10th grade)
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • Personal Statement (minimum of 500 words)
  • Citizenship/Passport copy
  • 2 passport-size pictures
  • A visa copy, if you are in Nepal on a visa (For an International Student)

Students can complete their application form manually and submit it to the admissions officer. On completion of the filling of their application, it will be scanned and sent to the University Admissions Office for approval.

Normally, students receive an offer letter within 24 working hours from the University, but it may take up to a maximum of seven working days.

Students who wish to submit an application by e-mail, please make sure you download the UN UK application form from our website (Download here). Students need to scan all their original documents and the UN UK application form (especially the last page) and send them as an attachment to the admissions@nami.edu.np.

Notes: Students will be required to bring original documents at the time of enrollment.

  • Monthly Tution Fee: NPR 17,500
  • Transportation Fee / Per Month (if required): NPR 2,900
  • Transportation (One Way): NPR 1,900
  • Lab Charge: NPR 6,000 per Subject (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) will be charged annually for the two academic sessions.

Other Information

  • Tuition fee will be charged for a period of twenty-four months.
  • The cost of the examination fee set by the British Council must be borne by the students.
  • The internal examination fee must be borne by the students.
  • The three-month transportation fee needs to be deposited at the time of admission
  • The above fee doesn't include costs for books, stationery, food, uniform, handouts, and other extra activities requested by the students.
  • Transportation service is exclusively available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility 

For GCE A Level: Students who have taken the SEE/GCSE/CBSE or equivalent courses at the time of admission can apply for GCE A-Level programs.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The college offers scholarships to highly meritorious but financially weak students. Various Scholarship Schemes are available on the basis of Past Academic Records, Sports, Entrance toppers, and Meritorious students.

ABOUT US

Established in 2012, NAMI is a distinguished educational institution offering a comprehensive range of programs from primary to master's level education.

NAMI was initiated by a group of like-minded, distinguished, and committed Nepali citizens who established it with a view to contributing to the social and economic growth of Nepal through the establishment of a center of excellence for education.

NAMI is being developed as Nepal’s premier educational institution in partnership with the University of Northampton (UN), United Kingdom. NAMI aims to bring world-class education to Nepal. NAMI students will be registered as University of Northampton students. UN & NAMI faculty will jointly deliver all curriculum as designed by UN & approved by the Government of Nepal. Upon graduation, NAMI students will be awarded a University of Northampton degree. NAMI students will also be eligible to transfer credits to UN after Year 2 and to attend the graduation ceremony in the UK.
