Admission Guidelines

For B.Sc. CSIT

Eligibility to Study

The candidate applying for B.Sc. CSIT program:

Should have successfully completed twelve years of schooling in the science stream or equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by TU.
Should have secured a minimum of a ‘C’ grade in the 10+2 or equivalent.
Should have successfully passed the entrance examination conducted by TU, securing at least 35% marks.
Compiled with all the application procedures.
All three groups— Biology, Physics, and Computer—of students in the +2 level are eligible to apply for the course.

Admission Criteria and Entrance Exam

A student eligible to study the B.Sc. CSIT course should collect and submit the application form from any of the B.Sc. CSIT colleges. The applications generally open during the month of Shrawan or Bhadra every year. All students must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by the Institute of Science and Technology (IOST) at Tribhuvan University to be eligible for enrollment in the B.Sc. Program. Program. CSIT program. The entrance examination is 100 marks in full, with a pass mark of 35, consisting of objective-type questions in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry subjects for students of 10+2 or equivalent.

For BCA

Eligibility for Admission

The candidate applying for the BCA program:

Should have successfully completed twelve years of schooling in any stream or equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by TU.
Should have secured a minimum of ‘D+’ grade with CGPA 2.0 or more in the 10+2 or equivalent in each subject.
Should have the minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline
Students who have passed grade 11 and are awaiting the supplementary exam (PURAK PARIKSHA) for grade 12 can also apply. However, they have to submit all the required documents at the time of admission.
The candidate must pass the entrance examination conducted by TU.

FOR BITM

Eligibility for Admission

The candidate applying for BITM program:

Should have successfully completed twelve years of schooling in any stream or equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by TU.
Should have secured a minimum of ‘D+’ grade with CGPA 1.8 or more in the 10+2 or equivalent in each subject.
The candidate must pass the Central Management Admission Test conducted by FoM, TU.

For BHM

Eligibility for Admission

The candidate applying for BHM program:

Should have successfully completed twelve years of schooling in any stream or equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by TU.
Should have secured a minimum of ‘D+’ grade with CGPA 1.8 or more in the 10+2 or equivalent on each subjects.
The candidate must pass the Central Management Admission Test conducted by FoM,TU.
