Message from the Campus Chief

Sanjita Bista

The 21st century has seen advances in medical and allied sciences as well as an increase in several diseases. Increased life expectancy worldwide has been achieved, and the elderly population with comorbidities has also risen exponentially. In this context, the promotion of good health, the availability of standard medicine, and the rational use of medicines must be safeguarded. This is possible through public awareness and quality production of medicines, distribution, and rational use. We, the teaching faculty and the entire KCHS team, firmly believe in quality. Since 2007 AD, we have produced quality undergraduates in public health and pharmacy. We are now running MPH in Health Science Management from 2025. Our 3 gold medalists, merit holders, and alumni have proven that KATHMANDU MULTIPLE COLLEGE (formerly Karnali College of Health Science has left no stone unturned in the field of academic excellence.

Our globally competent scholars have practiced in the rural areas of Nepal, public health offices, pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, and government services. They have also served as research scientists and registered pharmacists in developed countries such as the USA, Australia, and Canada. We aim to be among the best Purbanchal University-affiliated colleges. Time and again, our end-of-semester exam results have shown our commitment and the students’ academic devotion. In this competitive world, academic growth without research is not feasible. Research is the backbone of strengthening academic excellence so we emphasize research-based studies. Our college has published its first issue of the journal, and we aim to continue with more innovative ideas. We are in the pipeline for M.Pharm programs. I am thankful to all the stakeholders, our dedicated faculties, non-academic staff, and our hardworking students for their continuous support. I look forward with the same enthusiasm.
