ABOUT
Kapan Multiple Campus (KMC) was established through the collective efforts of local residents, academic leaders, and political representatives. It was established, realising that until 2069 BS, the absence of a community-based institution meant most local students were forced to enroll in expensive private colleges. Since then, the campus has focused on providing market-driven and productive educational services, ensuring accessibility even for students who are economically deprived.
KMC began its journey with an affiliation from Tribhuvan University, offering BBS and B.Ed. programs. From the start, the campus has been built on the values of inclusion and equality. It provides a multicultural, co-educational environment where every student is respected regardless of their background.
At present, KMC has present become one of the largest community-based campuses of Budhanilkantha municipality, and there are more than 500 students studying in the campus. Since its establishment, KMC has prepared thousands of students who are serving within the country and abroad. It has been a pioneering community-based campus of Nepal. It is located in a peaceful area in the center of the Budhanilkantha municipality of Kathmandu. The campus is an autonomous and not for profit making institution established solely for the purpose of providing higher education. It is affiliated with TU of Nepal. Due to quality education, spacious physical infrastructure, affordable cost, highly qualified dedicated faculty members, and convenient location of Budhanilkantha municipality, KMC has been the centre of excellence in higher education.
In a short time, KMC has become a top academic destination in the region. The campus is committed to building a legacy of excellence and providing a supportive "academic wonderland" where every student can grow and achieve a bright future.
