The Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE), located in Budhanilkantha-09, Mandikhatar, Kathmandu, has been shaping future leaders in the tourism and hospitality industry since its inception in 2007. Admission Guidelines
For Bachelor Level
Step 1
Counseling: Visit our campus and meet our admission counselor.
Any eligible candidate for GATE must submit an application in the prescribed form for the Entrance Test. The applicant must enclose the application form along with the copies of:
- Certified testimonial of all examinations passed
- Equivalency, Transfer, and Character Certificates
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Financial certificate

- Entrance Test

- Result and Conditional offer letter.
- Admission Confirmation by the Candidate.

Note: CMAT Score is also accepted.
For Diploma Level Programs
- Students should have completed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) or its equivalent,
- Students should have basic knowledge of the English Language, both oral and written,
- Students should have good health and mentally motivated in the industry.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
GATE is committed to providing scholarships and financial assistance on tuition fees for Nepali citizens, including other criteria, who are in need so that full academic potential and a plan for a successful career can be achieved.
There are two types of scholarships available at GATE: need-based and merit-based.
Need-basis scholarships are offered to those who are:
- financially needy,
- marginalized,
- lower caste,
- differently-abled.
Merit-based scholarships are offered based on:
- G.P.A. in NEB,
- College entrance examination,
- Academic and extracurricular merits,
- Athletics: students who excel in sports, with required sports certification,
- Evidence of applicants' personal and character traits that foster cooperation, community, and compassion.
