Admission Guidelines

Admission requirements for BBA and BBA-BI, BHM and BCSIT

  1. Must have completed the Higher Secondary Level (10+2) or equivalent as recognized by Pokhara University.
  2. Must have secured CGPA of 1.8 (on a 4.0 point scale) or 45 percent grades (minimum Grade 'D' on individual subjects) in any stream.
  3. Should apply in the prescribed form for the entrance test.
  4. Should enclose with the application form attested copies of:
    • Mark Sheet and character certificate of SE or equivalent.
    • Transcript and character certificate of 10+2 or equivalent
    • Original Migration Certificate for those students who have passed NEB exam or equivalent degree from a foreign country.
    • Copy of Citizenship.

Admission requirement for MBA

  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent with 15 years of formal education (12 years of schooling and three years of graduation) in any discipline with minimum second division in undergraduate level can apply for admission to MBA
  2. Admission Process for MBA involves
    • Submission of complete application form (download from www.pu.edu.np), transcripts of all previous degree (Bachelor, Certificate and SLC) and along with payment of admission test fee within the date specified.
    • Applicants are tested for their aptitude to study management through a written admission test. The test is designed to assess the applicants' ability in verbal and quantitative reasoning data interpretation and proficiency in English language.
    • After the test the applicants are required to participate in group discussion and take a personal interview.

Entrance Test

On receipt of the completed application form, the candidate shall be registered for the Entrance Test. All applicants for the program are required to sit for an Entrance Test. The Test is designed to assess candidates for the program in the following areas.

  1. Verbal ability (25 marks)
  2. Quantitative ability (25 marks)
  3. Logical reasoning (25 marks)
  4. General awareness (25 marks)

Interview

Successful candidates at the written test will present themselves at interview/aptitude test along with parents or guardians. Those candidates who are listed in the final record will meet us within the time frame as fixed by the college.

Apollo International College (AIC), established in 2010 AD, is located in the heart of Kathmandu's capital, New Baneshwor. The college offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Administration–Finance (BBA-Finance) previously called Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Insurance (BBA-BI), and Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Computer System and Information Technology (BCSIT) Programs at undergraduate level and Master of Business Administration (MBA) at graduate level affiliated to Pokhara University.
