1. Nepal Ayurveda Medical Council was established to provide and observe necessary standards of Ayurvedic education, service and registration of practitioner.  Ayurveda practitioner must register with Ayurveda Medical Council to hold him/herself as a practitioner.
   
2. Two (2) Universities of Nepal, Nepal Sanskrit University  and Tribhuvan University  offers BAMS program in Nepal.
