TU Institute of Forestry MSc Entrance Exam Notice 2082

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry (IOF) has released the entrance examination center for the admission to different MSc programs for the academic year 2082/84. 

Updated Details:

Entrance Examination Date:  Mangsir 13, 2082 (November 29, 2025) Saturday at 11 AM

Entrance Center: Jana Prasashan Campus, Balkhu

Notes: Examinees must bring the color print of their entrance card to the examination. This must be presented along with a government-issued document with their photo attached to verify their identity.

Extended Deadlines:

• Online form Submission Deadline : Mangsir 10, 2082 ( November 26, 2025) until 12 midnight
• Entrance Examination Date: Mangsir 13, 2082 (November 29, 2025) Saturday at 11 AM, Kathmandu
• Other information related to the entrance examination will be published later.

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry (IOF) announces admission open for the academic session 2082-84 BS (2025-2027 AD) in the following programs:

• M.Sc. Forestry
• MSc in Wildlife Management and Biodiversity Conservation
• MSc in Natural Resource Management and Rural Development
• MSc Community Forestry
• MSc Mountain Environment and Development Studies
• MSc in Watershed Management

Interested candidates are called for admission to the constituent campuses of the Institute of Forestry and other affiliated campuses.

Entrance Details for MSc Programs

• Application Fee: NPR. 3500 (you need to pay NRs 200 for each additional program by using Connect-IPS, Khalti, or eSewa through the entrance portal)
• Application Deadline with Normal Fee: Sharwan 20 2082 (August 05, 2025) to  Bhadra 31, 2082 (September 16, 2025)
• Entrance Exam date: will be published later.
• Examination Center: Kathmandu
