Rajarshi Janak University Opens Admissions for LLB and LLM Programs 2082/83

Rajarshi Janak University (RJU) has announced the opening of admissions for the three-year LLB and two-year LLM programs for the academic year 2082/83.

Eligible candidates wishing to enroll in the annual programs under the Faculty of Humanities and Law at RJU can apply for admission based on the following details.

• Application Submission Starts on : Magh 2, 2082 (January 16, 2026)
• Application Submission Deadline: Magh 21, 2082 (February 4, 2026)
• Application Submission Deadline with Double Fee: Magh 23, 2082 (February 6, 2026)

Entrance Detail:

• Entrance Fee for LLB: Rs 1,000
• Entrance Fee for LLM: Rs 1, 500
• Entrance Card Available from: 2082 Magh 23 ( February 6, 2026) onwards (Students shall attend the exam with their printed entrance card and citizenship card)
• Entrance Exam: Magh 24, 2082,(February 7, 2026) Saturday at 11 AM
• Exam Centers: The examination centers are determined based on the choices made by the applicants while filling out the form as follows:
  • For students wishing to study at University Campus, Janakpur: The center will be at University Campus, Janakpur (for the LL.B. program).
  • For students wishing to study at the K.M.C.-32, Tinkune location, the center will be at that same location (applicable for both LL.B. and LL.M. programs).

Eligibility Criteria:

(For LLB)

• Applicants wishing to enroll in the LL.B. program must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or educational board.
• For this purpose, a "Bachelor's Degree" refers to the completion of a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree or an equivalent program in any subject after completing 10+2 or +3 levels.

(For LLM)

• Candidates wishing to enroll in the LL.M. program must have passed either a five-year B.A. LL.B. or a three-year LL.B. level from a recognized university or educational board.

Selection Process:

Candidates who score at least 40 marks in the university's entrance examination will be selected for admission based on merit.

Required Documents (Scanned):

• Academic transcripts/marksheet.
• Citizenship certificate.
• Equivalence Certificate (if applicable).
• Photograph.
• Sample of the applicant's signature.

Reservation Quotas: 

• Applicants wishing to apply under reservation quotas must attach the necessary documents or recommendation letters online to claim the quota.
