Admission Open at National College, Kathmandu University for Bachelors Programs

National College in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu, is pleased to announce that admissions are now open for all undergraduate programs affiliated with Kathmandu University for the upcoming academic session. The college invites student to join the college's vibrant academic community and pursue their higher education in one of the following programs:

• Bachelor in Development Studies (BDevS)
• Bachelor of Social Sciences (BoSS)
• Bachelor in Development Finance (BDFin)
• Bachelor in Psychology (BPsych)

The new semester will begin on September 18, 2025.

Scholarships

• SAF Madanjeet Singh Scholarship
  • Fully funded scholarships for 8 students from SAARC countries to study undergraduate courses at the National College.
• Semester-Topper Scholarship
  • A 50% semester fee waiver is available for students who achieve a 4.0 GPA in each semester for each program.
  • A 35% semester fee waiver is available for one student from each program with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA).
• Needy and Diligent Scholarship
  • Every year, 10% of the total students are awarded this scholarship.
  • A 33% semester fee waiver is available for selected students.
• Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Scholarship
  • Support provided in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

Eligibility

• Students should have completed the Higher Secondary level with a minimum GPA of 1.6, and if they are taking A Levels, they will need to complete three Advanced Levels.

Entrance Exam: All applicants are required to take an entrance exam (80 marks).

Entrance Exam Fee: NPR 1,000.

KUSAAT Details (2025)

• A 90-minute written exam followed by an interview, conducted by KUSOA. The test includes:

1. General Knowledge
2. Math (IQ)
3. English
4. Nepali
5. English to Nepali translation
6. Essay Writing

• Submit the required documents, including your high school transcripts.
• Pay the entrance exam fee of NPR 1,000.
• Prepare for and attend the entrance exam on the scheduled date (to be announced).
