Admissions open for MTech (IT) at Kathmandu University

Kathmandu University’s School of Engineering has announced that a limited number of seats are still available for admission into its MTech in Information Technology program under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DoSCE), School of Engineering , Kathmandu University. The university invited eligible candidates to apply for these remaining positions to join the upcoming academic session.

Admission will be proceed on a first-come, first -served basis, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility requirements. Interested applicants who meet the university's admission criteria are requested to contact the DoSCE on or before 7th January, 2026, by 3:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates with score of at least 50% in aggregate or a CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 grading system from any recognized institution, and

• Undergraduate in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Computer Application (with honors), or
• Total of at least 16 years of education with science background, or
• M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related field.
