Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Law (Dean's Office, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu), has opened applications for the LLM Entrance Exam in the first semester of the LL.M. program conducted under the semester system, a 4-semester (2-year) and 6-semester (3-year) program, for the academic year 2081/2082. Prospective students seeking admission to LLM programs at Tribhuvan University's constituent campuses and affiliated colleges can submit the online form.

While depositing the amount, the applicant’s full name and mobile number must be clearly mentioned. It is not allowed to deposit the fee for more than one applicant using the same mobile number.
Admit Card will be available for download online from Mangsir 21, 2082 (December 07, 2025), after 4:00 pm.
Examination Centers and time will be announced later.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree by the deadline for submitting the entrance examination form.

50 seats for the 4-semester day group
50 seats for the 6-semester morning group
Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara:
35 seats for the 6-semester morning group
National Law College (affiliated with Tribhuvan University):
50 seats for the day group
In total, 185 seats have been allocated.
Foreign students may apply for the postgraduate program alongside domestic applicants through open competition. Those who rank within the top 5% of the merit list are eligible for admission to the respective campuses, subject to payment of the required fees.
Entrance Examination Details
The entrance exam is based on Jurisprudence, as per the syllabus of the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) program, and consists of 100 marks.

Notes
"Others" includes minority, marginalized, and backward groups, as well as sexual and gender minorities and economically disadvantaged Khas Arya individuals.
"Economically Disadvantaged Khas Arya" refers to members of the Khas Arya community certified as economically disadvantaged by the District Administration Office.
"Khas Arya" encompasses the Chhetri, Brahmin, Thakuri, and Sanyasi (Dasnami) communities.
"Disadvantaged Remote Area" denotes the districts of Mugu, Humla, Jumla, Kalikot, Dolpa, Achham, Bajhang, Bajura, and Jajarkot.

Students who have completed their undergraduate studies from universities or institutions other than Tribhuvan University, whether domestic or international, are required to provide the following at the time of admission to the respective campus:
An equivalence certificate issued by Tribhuvan University
The original migration certificate from the respective university or institution
