Admission Open for Engineering Programs at Kantipur Engineering College

Kantipur Engineering College (KEC), the oldest TU-affiliated college offering engineering education since 1998, aims to produce qualified and proficient engineers capable of addressing the engineering challenges of this modern era. KEC opens admission for the following programs with affiliation from Tribhuvan University for the academic year 2082 :

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Bachelor of Electronics, Communication and Information Engineering
• Bachelor of Computer Engineering

Important Dates

• Class Start: Kartik 12, 2082
• Shift: Morning 7:00 AM to 3:20 PM (Sunday to Thursday)

Eligibility

• Candidates must have secured a minimum 'C' grade in each subject of 10+2 or 45 % in Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent course. The Bio group with extra Mathematics is also eligible for admission.
• Students must have passed the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Engineering (IOE).

• Students should apply with subsidized fee through https://apply.kec.edu.np/ before Bhadra 22, 2082. The college will publish the merit list for admission as per the schedule of the IOE published for the 2082 intake.

• Kantipur Engineering College offers a 10% scholarship to students enrolled in the program. Additionally, the college offers a significant fee waiver scheme based on the IOE entrance rank.

4 Years Regular Scholarship 2025

Besides the 10 % scholarship, KEC offers 4 Years Regular Scholarship Scheme to students who pass the IOE entrance examination. This scholarship scheme is based on the rank obtained in their IOE entrance examination for admission to the respective programs. KEC assures the scholarship for at least 10 students in the BE Civil and 5 students in each of the remaining programs- BE Computer and BE Electronics, Communication, and Information. The offer is valid for only a limited seats and time.

4 Years Regular Scholarship Details:
