Far Western University's Faculty of Science and Technology has extended the application submission deadline for entrance examination for new enrollment in the first year of the four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT), Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), and BSc. (General Science) programs. Along with the deadline, the university also published a revised examination schedule for the programs that were previously postponed due to adverse circumstances in the country following the Gen Z protest. The new schedule is provided below:

Far Western University, Faculty of Science and Technology, announces admissions open for the academic year 2082/083. Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for enrollment in the first year of the four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc. CSIT) and Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) programs. Both programs are conducted under the semester system and are available at the university's central departments as well as its affiliated campuses.

Eligibility
- For admission to B.Sc.CSIT, one must have passed +2 with a science major (with a C grade in each subject) or passed a Diploma in computer engineering (with a C grade in each subject).
- In the case of BIT, one must have studied a minimum of 100 full marks in Mathematics or Computer Science, even if they have studied from any faculty with a minimum D grade (1.8 CGPA) in +2.
