Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology, has extended the deadline for submitting the online entrance examination application form for admission to the Bachelors in Information Technology (BIT) program for the academic year 2082. Students are notified to submit their applications within the extended period as per the following details:

Extended Deadline:

Application Form Submission Deadline with double fee: Kartik 25, 2082 (November 11, 2025)
Entrance Examination Center: will be published later

Note: Candidates who have appeared for the examination with up to two subjects marked as Non-Graded (NG) will also be allowed to fill the entrance examination form.

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology, has published the entrance examination date and time for entrance examination of Bachelors in Information Technology (BIT) as follows:

Entrance Examination Date: Kartik 29, 2082 (November 15, 2025)

Entrance Examination Time: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Tribhuvan University, Institution of Science and Technology, has postponed the entrance examination of Bachelors in Information Technology (BIT), which was scheduled for Ashoj 4, 2082, till Kartik 10, 2082. The postponed entrance date will be published later.

Application Form Starting Date: Shrawan 18, 2082 (August 03, 2025)
Application Form Submission Deadline with normal fee: Bhadra 24, 2082 (September 09, 2025)
Application Form Submission Deadline with double fee: Bhadra 25, 2082 to Bhadra 31, 2082.

Normal Form Fee: Rs. 1,850
Date of Entrance Examination: to be published later

Eligibility to study BIT-Tribhuvan University

Passed Proficiency Certificate Level or Equivalent Examination from any faculty taking subjects like English and Mathematics or Computer (Students should have studied at least a Mathematics or English) subject with 100 pass marks and secured at least second division.
Passed grade 12 from Higher Secondary or Secondary School in any stream, but must have studied English and Mathematics or Computer Subject of 100/100 marks; students must have taken English, Mathematics or Computer (Must have studied at least Mathematics or Computer subject) and secured at least a C grade. For other subjects, he/she should have passed, securing at least a Grade Point (GPA 1.6) and a final CGPA of at least 1.8.
Passed A-level examination (studying English and Mathematics or Computer subject of 100/100 marks), securing a D Grade with or without a small letter.
Passed Three Years Diploma in second division from CTEVT by studying English and Mathematics or Computer with 100/100 marks each.
