Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), a public not-for-profit institution dedicated to the improvement of the health of the people in Nepal, invites highly motivated candidates to undertake advanced training and research in its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health Sciences program.

Important Dates:

• Application Deadlinen with Regular Fee(Rs 5,000): 12th February, 2026 (Magh 29, 2082)

• Application with Late Fee (Rs 10,000): 20th February, 2026 (Falgun 08, 2082)

• Written Entrance Examination: 6th March, 2026 (Falgun 22, 2082)

• Presentation and Interview of the Shortlisted Candidates: 13th March, 2026 (Falgun 29, 2082)

• Session Commencement: 15th April, 2026 (Baisakh 02, 2083)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in Health Sciences OR

• Master’s Degree with at least three (3) years of experience in a health-related field and a minimum of three (3) publications in peer-reviewed journals.

All applicants will take a written exam and shortlisted candidates on merit basis will be called for submission and presentation of a research proposal along with interview.

Note:

Candidates are required to be physically present at the PAHS Academic Administration Office at 9:00 am, 06-Mar-2026 (Falgun 22, 2082) to verify the documents and get the admit card for the Written Entrance Examination.
