Admission Open for BE Programs at NCIT College

Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), affiliated with Pokhara University and located in Balkumari, Lalitpur, announces that admissions are open for the following programs. 

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology (BE IT)
• Bachelor of Software Engineering
• Bachelor of Computer Engineering (BE Computer)
• Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch)
• Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering

Eligibility

• At least Second Division (45%) in +2/equivalent exams

• OR minimum C grade(in case of A levels, minimum D Grade) in each subject in XI and XII Separately

•  BIOLOGY GROUP STUDENTS ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE TO APPLY

Scholarships

• PU Scholarships

The college offers scholarships to deserving students in accordance with PU guidelines. 10% of the annual intake of students is provided with scholarships in this category.

• NCIT Scholarships

The college provides scholarships based on the student’s combined marks of +2/equivalent and the NCIT Entrance Test.

• Performance Scholarships

The college awards full scholarships (Semester Fees waiver) to students who achieve an SGPA of 4 in any semester for the subsequent semester. NCIT also awards those students who are class toppers or second toppers.

• Marksheet & Character Certificate of SEE 

• Marksheet of Grade 11 & Transcript of Grade 12 

• A photocopy of the citizenship.

Entrance Test Formats

This year also NCIT shall be conducting paper-based Entrance Tests. Getting through these tests is mandatory for Admission. The Entrance Test appropriately assesses the examinee in areas related to his/her choice of course: Engineering.

Offer of Admission and Acceptance

• Selection will be based on entrance score and interview performance.
• Candidates must be accompanied by their parents/guardians for the interview session.
• Selected candidates must confirm their admission promptly after the publication of results.
• Admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited seat availability.
• The college will confirm admission forthwith, subject to the payment of fees. Successful applicants shall be enrolled as genuine NCIT students on the completion of this process.
