Admissions Open for BEc LLB at Kathmandu University School of Law

Kathmandu University School of Law (KUSOL) announces the opening of admissions to the Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws (BEc-LL.B), a 5-year undergraduate program for the Fall Intake of the academic year 2025. The BEc-LL.B program is an integrated Bachelor’s program in Economics and Law that meets all requirements of the professional undergraduate law degree or Legum Baccalaureus.

• Entrance Examination: August 16, 2025, Saturday (11:00 AM- 1:00 PM)

• Result and Call for Interview: August 19, 2025, Tuesday

• Interview: August 20 & 21, 2025, Wednesday & Thursday

• Final Result and Call for Admission : August 24, 2025, Sunday

• Admission Time: August 25 to September 4, 2025

• Orientation : September 5, 2025, Friday

• Class Start : September 7, 2025, Sunday

Eligibility

Nepali and non-Nepali nationals who have completed 10+2 or intermediate or equivalent level of study program of at least two years duration after SLC/SEE in any discipline, securing minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate or CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 from universities/boards recognized by Kathmandu University can apply. Those who have completed the following program with the mentioned grade are also eligible to apply.

• University of Cambridge, UK (A-Level): - Three A-level and one AS-level Courses -Aggregate Percentage Uniform Marks (PUM) of 50% or a Minimum D/d in each subject.

• International Baccalaureate (IB), Switzerland:- Minimum 6 subjects (at least 3 courses in Higher level) with 26 points in aggregate

• Council for Technical, Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Nepal:- Three-year diploma withan  aggregate of 50%

• CBSE, India:- 50% in aggregate

Documents Required

1. A copy of academic credentials (SLC/SEE or equivalent level of studies, and 2 or equivalent level of studies, and, in case of provisional application, a copy of the admit card for the appearance in the final exam.
2. A copy of a citizenship certificate or a passport
3. The proof of the deposit of the application fee of Rs. 2000.00 (Two Thousand only) made in the following bank account- Nabil Bank Ltd A/C No. 04201017500994, A/C Name: KU-School of Law. 

Need-based, merit-based, and other scholarships are available to the admitted students.
