Entrance Exam Notice for BE Programs at Far Western University

Far Western University, Faculty of Engineering, has revised the date for filling the entrance examination form and the date of examination for admission of new students to undergraduate programs in the academic session 2082/083 as follows, for the information of all concerned.

1. Admission to the School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, and scholarship quota provided by the university in affiliated colleges:

• Last date to submit the entrance exam form: Bhadra 18, 2082 (September 3, 2025)
• Date and time of the entrance exam: Bhadra 21, 2082 (September 6, 2025), Saturday, at 11:00 AM.
• Location: School of Engineering, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur

2. The application form for admission to affiliated colleges, other than scholarships provided by Far Western University, has been opened as follows, with the respective colleges managing the entrance examination form:

• Last date to submit the entrance exam form: Bhadra 23, 2082 (September 8, 2025)
• Date and time of the entrance exam: Bhadra 25, 2082 (September 10, 2025) at 11:00 AM.
• Location: Respective affiliated colleges

The entrance examination program, including the entrance examination form, is conducted internally by the affiliated colleges themselves, incorporating the Far-western University entrance examination program.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have achieved at least 45% of the total marks or a Final Grade of C (on Letter grading system) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the secondary level (Class 12), Engineering Diploma, A Level, or an equivalent examination from a recognized institution.
• Students who have appeared for the final examination of Class 12 or equivalent or the sixth semester of Engineering Diploma are also eligible to apply and participate in the examination.

Required Documents

• Nepali Citizenship Certificate
• One recent passport-sized color photo with a plain background, showing the full forehead
• SEE or equivalent examination mark sheet, provisional certificate, transfer certificate, and character certificate
• Transcript, provisional certificate, transfer certificate, and character certificate for 10+2 or equivalent examination
• For scholarship applicants: certified documents relevant to the concerned group are mandatory. Failure to provide the required documents will result in disqualification from the scholarship.
