National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Dean’s Office, Nursing Division, Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, announces admissions for one-year Anesthesia Assistant Course for the academic year 2083/084.
This residential training program is designed for candidates who have completed Health Assistant, Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing, or equivalent from a recognized academic institution.

Important Notes:
If seats for the Government of Nepal, Sponsor, or Institutional categories remain vacant for any reason, they will be filled by successful candidates from the Open Competition based on their ranking in the Merit List.
Eligible candidates working under the Ministry of Health, Gandaki Province, must attach a prior approval letter from the Ministry of Health of Gandaki Province.
Regarding Nick Simons Institute (NSI) sponsor seats, a nomination letter from the said institute must be attached.
In the case of Institutional applicants, they must submit a letter proving they are currently employed at the respective institution along with a sponsorship letter for their studies.
Regarding age, the age of the applicants will be considered according to the prevailing rules as of the last date of application submission.
Applicants must submit a copy of their registration certificate from the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) or Nepal Nursing Council (NNC), along with a certificate proving at least 2 years of work experience in a government-recognized health institution acquired after the date of registration.
Successful candidates from the Provincial Government (Ministry of Health, Gandaki Province), Sponsor, Institutional, and Open categories must pay the fees prescribed by NAMS (National Academy of Medical Sciences).
