Purbanchal University, Faculty of Engineering, has published the merit list of the re-entrance examination conducted on Mangsir 5, 2082, for admission to its Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programs in Civil, Computer, Electronics Communication and Automation, Electrical, Geomatic, and Biomedical, and the Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) program for the academic year 2082/83. Since the classes for the program will start from Mangsir 10, 2082, the notice instructs all concerned schools/colleges/campuses and students to complete their admission process as soon as possible for the academic session.

Re-entrance Update: 19th October, 2025

Purbanchal University, Faculty of Engineering has announced a Re-Entrance Examination for admission into its Bachelor of Engineering (BE Civil , Computer, Electronics Communication and Automation, Electrical, Geomatic, Biomedical) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) programs for the current academic year 2082/83.

Applicants who were unable to apply previously or wish to retake the entrance examination can now apply online. Applicants must fill out the online application form properly, upload a recent color photograph, and attach a scanned copy of the payment voucher after paying the entrance fee through the online payment method or bank deposit. Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Purbanchal University's Faculty of Engineering has published the merit list of the entrance examination held on Ashwin 4, 2082, for admission to BE (Civil, Computer, Electronics Communication & Automation, Electrical, Geomatic, Biomedical) and B. Arch programs for the academic year 2082/83.

According to the notice, affiliated colleges must admit students strictly on the basis of the published merit list and within their allocated admission seats (maintaining 5% reserved scholarship seats out of the total enrollment) within the following dates.

Note: The university won't be responsible for admitting without fulfilling the university's admission criteria of its Purbanchal University, Unified Entrance and Scholarship Procedure -2082.

Likewise, students who applied for a reserved scholarship and have not submitted their transcript and character certificate for +2 or equivalent, must submit a scanned copy of the documents by Ashoj 31, 2082, at their respective campus or college. Similarly, the campuses/colleges shall submit the collected documents to the faculty's email address: entrance.support@pufoe.edu.np. The results of the scholarship examination will be published after evaluating all the gathered documents.

Purbanchal University's Faculty of Engineering has announced a new date for its postponed entrance examination for new admissions to its Bachelor of Engineering programs (BE Civil/ Computer/ Electronics, Communication, and Automation/Electrical/ Geomatic/ Biomedical and B.Arch.).

According to a notice released by the Entrance Examination Committee-2082, the examination will now be held on Saturday, Asoj 4, 2082 B.S. (September 20, 2025), from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Instructions for Applicants:

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website starting 10:30 AM on Wednesday, Asoj 1, 2082 B.S.
Applicants are advised to refer to the previously published notice or visit the faculty’s official website for details about their examination centers.

Purbanchal University, Faculty of Engineering, invites applications for the undergraduate level entrance examination 2082 (2025) for admission to the following engineering programs under its affiliated/constituent campuses/colleges.

Eligibility

BE (Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Communication, and Automation, Geomatic) / B. Arch Programs

The Candidate must have passed +2 Science/A /A level or Equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) with a minimum 'C' Grade in English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from any recognized academic institution with a minimum of 45% marks or a GPA of 2.00 in aggregate.

BE (Biomedical) Program

The Candidate must have passed +2 Science/A /A level or Equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry & Biology) with a minimum 'C' Grade in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology from any recognized academic institution with a minimum of 45% marks or a GPA of 2.00. in aggregate.

Interested applicants must:

Select their desired school, campus, or college.
Fill out the ONLINE entrance examination application form via the above link
Upload scanned copies of all required original documents in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format and submit the application along with the required documents within the deadline.

Regarding Application Process and Other Arrangements:

Schools/campuses/colleges must verify the necessary documents of students who have applied online within the specified timeframe.
Application forms of students who do not UPLOAD the specified fees and necessary documents will not be accepted.
If an application form that has not been duly filled out or lacks the specified documents is rejected, the concerned applicant will be responsible for it.

Scholarship Provision

Scholarships are awarded in accordance with the Purbanchal University Scholarship Regulations 2078 (amended 2080), with 10% of the scholarships allocated (5% based on merit and 5% reserved). Applicants in the reserved category must select the appropriate group and upload all necessary documents in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format.
Students applying from the reserved group must tick (√) their desired reserved group in the application form. Additionally, all necessary original documents as mentioned in the "Pre-Entrance Examination, Scholarship Arrangements and Integrated Procedure for Scholarship Entrance Examination 2078" must be compulsorily uploaded as scanned copies in JPEG/JPG/PNG format.
Detailed information regarding the minimum academic qualifications required for admission to each academic program under Purbanchal Engineering can be obtained from the website mentioned above.
Students who have not received their transcript and character certificate after the Class 12 examination results are published, or those waiting for the results of an irregular examination, can also attach a Gradesheet/Marksheet of Class 11 and 12 and apply. However, in the case of scholarships, all necessary documents must be uploaded by the final date for submitting the application form, and students who have not received their transcript and character certificate must send an email to the concerned campus/college by the admission examination date.
