Admissions Open for Bachelor of Engineering Programs at Pokhara University School of Engineering

The School of Engineering under the Faculty of Science and Technology at Pokhara University has issued a notice regarding re-admission for the bachelor's (fee-paying) level. The announcement addresses the vacant seats, including those in the Electrical & Electronics and other programs, for the academic session 2082.

Those who succeed in the fee-paying examination held on 2082/07/13, selected students in the merit list in the scholarship examination held on 2082/05/06 and also those who missed the admission process are requested to be present at the School of Engineering with the necessary documents within Kartik 24, 2082, during office hours.

The School of Engineering, Pokhara University, announces that admission is open for the following fee-paying Bachelor of Engineering Programs for the academic year 2082 B.S. (2025 A.D.).

Important Dates

• Online Application Submission Starts: 2082/04/21 (6th August, 2025)
• Online Application Submission Deadline: 2082/05/12 (28th August, 2025)
• Entrance Examination Date: 2082/05/13 (29th August, 2025, Friday)
• Entrance Exam Time: 3 PM to 5 PM.
• Entrance Exam Centers:
  • Pokhara Centre: School of Engineering, Pokhara-30, Khudi, Dhungepatan
  • Kathmandu Centre: Ace Institute of Management, Bibhuti Janak Marg, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu
  • Butwal Centre: Crimson College of Technology, Devinagar, Butwal

• The application fee is NRs. 1,600.
• The Entrance Card will be available to download from the candidate's user account created during the online application.

Eligibility

1. Candidates must have studied at least one course on Physics (P), Chemistry (C), and Mathematics (M) and completed the SLC (class 12) examination of NEB or equivalent level from a recognized academic institution.
2. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% or a CGPA of 2 (in a scale of 4) and at least Grade C (at least Grade D in case of A-level) or 45% in each subject (P, C, and M). The minimum criteria for Grade C (in case of A-level: Grade D) do not apply for extra courses, if any.
3. Candidates must have secured at least 100 marks in mathematics in the SLC (class 12) examination of NEB or equivalent level.
4. Candidates who are awaiting the results of class 12 or equivalent in the science stream can also apply.
