In the upcoming academic session of 2083, admissions are open for various classes across different branches:
Grade 6: For Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalayas in Bhaktapur, Pokhara, Dharan, Surkhet, Kailali, Chitwan, Bardibas, and Butwal. This is open to the children of all ranks of the Nepali Army (serving and retired personnel) as well as civilians.
Grade 1: For Bijeshwori Gyan Mandir Sainik Mahavidyalaya and Ripumardini Sainik Mahavidyalaya.
Pre-Primary (Play Group): For Shwetatara Pre-Primary Sainik School, specifically for the children of all ranks of the Nepali Army (serving and retired personnel).
Application forms can be obtained from the Principal's office of the respective college/school upon payment of the prescribed fee (except on public holidays) or can be downloaded from the website.
Eligibility
(A) Academic Requirements: Students must have passed from a school recognized by the Government of Nepal in the year 2082 B.S. For admission to Grade 6, they must have completed Grade 5; for Grade 1, they must have completed UKG/SKG. They must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks (minimum C+ grade or GPA 2.4) in the annual, half-yearly, second, or third terminal examinations. Alternatively, for the pre-primary level, they must have passed all subjects as per the recognized grade sheet (Progress Report).
(B) Age Requirements (as of Baisakh 1, 2083 B.S.):
For Grade 6: Must be at least 9 years old and not have exceeded 12 years.
For Grade 1: Must be at least 4 years old and not have exceeded 7 years.
For Shwetatara Pre-Primary (Playgroup - Army side): Must be at least 2 years old and not have exceeded 2 years and 6 months.
(C) Selection Process: To be admitted, candidates must pass the written entrance examination conducted by the Mahavidyalaya (except for Playgroup, and an Assessment process for Grade 1). Based on the merit list, candidates must be selected for the second stage and must also pass the interview and general health examination.

Distribution and registration of program forms: 2082 Chaitra 1 to 2082 Chaitra 18, 10 AM to 4 PM (Except on Public Holidays)
Written entrance examination: 2082 Chaitra 21, Saturday 1 PM.
Required Documents:
Certified copy of the Grade Sheet/Mark Sheet (1 copy): For Grade 6 (Grade 5 results) or Grade 1 (UKG/SKG results) from the annual, half-yearly, second, or third terminal exams of 2082 B.S.
Certified copy of the Character Certificate (1 copy), which must mention the student's age/date of birth.
Copies of the Birth Registration Certificate (2 copies) certified by the local Registrar/Ward Office.
Recent Photographs (2 copies): 1 Passport-size and 1 Auto-size.
For Army Personnel:
Serving Personnel: Original recommendation letter from the respective Unit Head (CO) clearly stating the child's date of birth (1 copy).
Retired Personnel (Ex-Servicemen): Copy of the Pension Patta (Pension Book) (1 copy).
