Admission Open for MPhil Leading to PhD programs at Mid-West University

Mid-West University’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, located in Birendranagar, Surkhet, Nepal, is now accepting applications for its MPhil Leading to PhD programs for the 2082/83 academic year in the following fields:

• Sociology/Anthropology

• Rural Development

• International Relations and Diplomacy

• Economics

• English

• Conflict and Peace Studies

• Nepali

• Social Work

• Journalism and Mass Communication

• International Cooperation and Development

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university

• Minimum grade 2.5 on a 4-point scale or equivalent grade, or at least second-division marks

• Relevant work experience (two years for second division holders, one year for first division holders, no experience required for distinction holders)

• Submit the completed application (either physically or via email ( dean.gshss@mu.edu.np ) 

• Attach journal articles and a bank voucher of Rs. 3,000 as the application fee
