Kathmandu University (KU), School of Engineering, calls for applications for admission in the following Master's Degree Programs for the academic year 2025/2026.
- Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence
- Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering
- Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering
- Master in Health Informatics
- Master of Technology in Information Technology
- Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
- Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
- Candidates who have completed a 4-year Bachelor of Engineering with a minimum 2.0 CGPA (on a maximum 4-point grading system) or 50% in aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the Master's degree programs.
- For MTech in AI and MTech in IT, candidates from non-Engineering disciplines can also apply. Similarly, for the Master's in Health Informatics, there is a separate set of criteria from those mentioned above. Students are requested to kindly review the detailed information on program eligibility.
- To learn more about the eligibility criteria for the programs listed above, please refer to the program-specific eligibility criteria document for each program.
- In general, candidates are advised to check the application requirements, the applicable fee, and any scholarship scheme before applying for the Master's program.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
- Aspiring eligible candidates must duly fill out the Online Application Form available on the KU Website.
- To complete the application, applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of NRs. 2,000/-.
- The payment should be made to Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited, A/C no.: 00501030255547, under the Account Name: Kathmandu University School of Engineering.
- Applicants must submit copies of certificates/transcripts, other required documents, and photographs as mentioned in the application form checklist.
- These documents must be submitted to the concerned department by the specified deadline.
- Upon submission, applicants should get their admission test/interview date.
- Selected candidates will be notified of an interview after the admission test.
- Following the interview, the selected candidates will be notified of the result.
- Successful candidates will then be asked to complete the admission process.
- Applicants are advised to visit the Kathmandu University Website (www.ku.edu.np) for regular updates on the admission process.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships and assistanceships will be available for deserving students.
