Admission Open for PGD Education 2026- Tribhuvan University

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Education, Dean's Office has extended the deadline for filling out the entrance examination application for admission to its Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) program for the 2082/83 academic session from Magh 6, 2082 (January 20, 2026), 6:00 PM to Magh 8, 2082 (January 22), 10:00 AM.
Similarly, the university has also published a notice regarding the entrance examination for admission in the PGDE program, which is scheduled for Magh 8, 2082 (January 22, 2026). According to the notice, the entrance examination will take place on the respective campuses.

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Education, Dean's Office has announced an extension for the entrance examination application deadline for its Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) program for the 2082/083 academic session.
The PGDE is a three-semester program designed as a specialized alternative to the traditional one-year B.Ed. degree. Aspiring students who passed bachelor's degree in any subject can now have additional time to secure their seats in PGDE in the upcoming academic year.
Extended Deadline and Schedule:
- Application Deadline: Magh 4, 2082 (January 18, 2026) by 3:00 PM
- Entrance Examination: Magh 8, 2082 (January 22, 2026) from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Results & Admissions: Magh 12, 2082 (January 26, 2026)
- Admissions: from Magh 13 to Magh 19 ( January 27-February 2)
- Class Starting Date: Magh 20, 2082 ( February 3, 2026) onwards
- Application Fee: Rs. 1,500, which must be paid via e-Sewa
- Eligibility: Students who passed a bachelor's degree in any subject can also apply for PGDE program

Eligibility Criteria for PGD Education
Graduates in specified fields from recognized universities are eligible to apply for the PGD Education program. Interested students must contact the campus or college they wish to enroll in and complete the application process online.
