Admission Open for MIT at KIST College

KIST College/SS, located at  Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu announces admission open for Master of Information Technology (MIT) affiliated to Purbanchal University.

Key Details

• Application Deadline with regular fee (2000): 2082/10/12 (January 26, 2026)

• Application Deadline with double fee (Rs 4000): 2082/10/14  (January 28, 2026) 

• Entrance Examination Date: 2082/10/17 (January 31, 2026) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Eligibility for MIT 

• Must have completed Bachelor's degree related to Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Application, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Science, Information Management, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, such as BSc Computer Science, BE Computer, BE Electronics and Communication, BScCSIT, BSc IT, BEIT, BE Software, BCA, BIT, PGDCA,BICT, BIM, BCIS, BBIS or equivalent.
• Must have secured a minimum CGPA 2.0 or 50% marks. Students who appeared in the final examination of Bachelor degree and are waiting for the result and certificates, can also apply for the entrance examination. However, they have to submit all the required documents at the time of admission.

MIT at KIST College

Successful candidates in the University Entrance Exam should fill in the KIST Admission Form. Applicants who have filled the University Entrance Exam forms in any other college are also eligible to apply here at KIST.
