The National Health Training Center, under the Ministry of Health, Government of Nepal, announces that admissions are open for the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) for the academic year 2082/83.
The Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) is an 18-month program offered by CTEVT. Students who enroll in this program can gain the opportunity to become a vital member of the hospital's healthcare team.
Modern hospitals rely on a wide range of medical equipment. Doctors and nurses must always have functioning diagnostic and treatment machinery ready. In this scenario, a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) performing preventive and repair work is essential to keeping the hospital running.

Application and Selection Process
Application Fee: NPR 1,000 for both full-fee paying and classified (free) scholarship categories.
Payment Method: The fee can be paid through Connect IPS or Khalti.
Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on the average Grade Point Average (GPA) obtained in the SEE examination. Detailed information regarding the selection process is outlined in Clause 6 of the admission guidelines.
Scholarship Information
A total of three scholarship seats are available:
Merit-Based Scholarship: 1 seat (awarded to the candidate with the highest score in the admission process).
Classified (Free) Scholarship: 2 seats.
Candidates applying for different scholarship quotas must submit separate online applications for each category.
Eligibility
Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the SEE/SLC or an equivalent examination with a major in Science.
Age Limit: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Required Documents
Recent passport-sized photograph.
Copy of the Nepalese Citizenship Certificate.
Self-attested copies of the SEE/SLC transcript and character certificate.
Self-attested copies of the 10+2 transcript and character certificate.
Additional documents as specified for classified (free) scholarship applicants, including proof of having studied at a government or community school.
