Admission Open for MSc GIS at Kathmandu Forestry College

Kathmandu Forestry College, located in Koteshwor, Kathmandu invites applications for admission in MSc in Geographical Information Science and Systems for the October session of 2023.

Eligibility

Students with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, including Geography, Information and Technology (IT), Engineering Science, Forestry, and Agriculture, with computer proficiency and fluency in the English language, are eligible to apply.

About MSc GIS

The course is offered in collaboration with the Department of Geoinformatics -Z-GIS, University of Salzburg, Austria (Europe). The two-year course covers 120 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) points and 12 modules such as Data Modelling and Structures, Data Source and Data Acquisition, Geo-database management, collaborative project, thesis research, etc.

The course has been approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal and the degree has been recognized as equivalent to MasteMasters'see by the Tribhuvan University.
